In what way were Roman political institutions configured around, and in support of, their system of social power? Be specific and give examples. Make sure you describe what their social system of power was. Put another way, how did social power both define the structure of, and provide exceptions for, how those institutions existed and functioned. Be sure to mention the Senate, the Plebeian Assembly, the Centuriate and Tribal assemblies (4 institutions), and as well how Roman politics worked in cases of land reform.
